Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Commissioning Manager to join our team at SBM Offshore. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Commissioning team and ensuring the successful execution of Commissioning activities on our projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Commissioning team and ensure the successful execution of Commissioning activities on our projects.
- Develop and implement Commissioning plans and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of Commissioning activities.
- Ensure that Commissioning activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Identify and mitigate potential Commissioning risks and ensure that corrective actions are taken as necessary.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and contractors.
- Ensure that all Commissioning documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members and ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in Commissioning and ensure that our team is equipped to deliver high-quality Commissioning services.
Requirements
- University degree in Engineering or Materials Science in Mechanical, Process, Electrical, or Instrumentation disciplines.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Commissioning in the Oil and Gas industry, with particular emphasis on FPSO projects.
- Proven track record of leading Commissioning teams and delivering successful Commissioning projects.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organization skills.
- Ability to take ownership and make timely decisions in difficult situations and changing contexts.
- Fluent in spoken and written English, with other languages a plus.
