\ComponentThe Role
\ComponentYou'll have the opportunity to shape the very foundation of the technology that drives our world as a Mainframe zIMS System Programmer at Kyndryl. Your work will involve developing, testing, and maintaining software that controls computer operating systems, hardware, and other system software.
\ComponentAs a master troubleshooter and problem-solver, you'll be responsible for ensuring the security of our computer systems while working closely with other IT professionals to design and implement cutting-edge technology that keeps Kyndryl ahead of the curve.
\ComponentIn this role, you'll provide Mainframe operating system platform programming and DBDC subsystem programming support that forms the backbone of our applications. You'll guide functional objectives on technologies and make use of your expert knowledge to drive solutions to complex problems.
\ComponentAs a leader in this field, you'll also be expected to conduct RCA discussions for the products you work on and provide ongoing technical and operational guidance to lead professional work teams. You may even manage departments on a national or international level, defining objectives and managing resources to ensure the success of your projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, update and coordinate Mainframe IMS subsystems and related ISV products\Component
- Providing technical support: This includes troubleshooting problems and incident management\Component
- Perform changes within Company regulations and security standards\Component
- Assist with testing, implementation, and installation of new/improved systems, as well as product upgrades\Component
- Attend meetings and interact regularly with management, team, and clients to continuously improve services\Component
- Installing/upgrading IBM IMS subsystem\Component
- Monitoring of IMS regions, using tools like TMON\Component
- Knowledge of administration tasks using various IMS DB/DC Commands\Component
About You
