About The Team
Join our dynamic team expanding our presence in the Nordics. As a Business Analyst, you'll collaborate closely with Nordic business development and commercial leadership, gaining direct access to senior leadership and contributing significantly to strategic direction.

This is a unique opportunity to drive business development efforts, enabling the team to focus on building client relationships and advancing deals as a skilled and analytical Business Analyst.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Analysis & Strategy
Inform Strategic Direction: Identify emerging trends, opportunities, and risks in the industrial decarbonization sector, guiding our approach and strategic adjustments.
- Guided Expansion
Evaluate our geographic strategy against industry best practices to unlock growth potential and inform strategic decisions.
- Insight-Driven Intelligence
Maintain comprehensive market intelligence tools to support data-driven decision-making across teams and initiatives.
Project Development
- Portfolio Advancement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to develop new project concepts aligning with sustainability and business goals.
- Scenario Planning
Conduct sensitivity analyses and feasibility studies to evaluate potential risks, returns, and long-term viability of projects.
- Pipeline Enablement
Research emerging opportunities, prepare stakeholder materials, and track pipeline progress for efficient project delivery and organizational alignment.
Financial Analysis
- Value Creation
Develop robust financial models to assess the commercial viability of ongoing and prospective initiatives.
- Decision Support
Conduct cost-benefit analyses, distill insights from complex data sets, and provide strategic recommendations for investment decisions.
- Strategic Resource Allocation
Interpret financial data to guide budgeting, forecasting, and resource prioritization in support of broader portfolio objectives.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a business analyst or consulting role, preferably within the energy sector (renewables, project development, or pricing modeling experience is beneficial).
- Education
A Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, engineering, or a related field.
- Analytical Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data from various sources.
- Financial Modeling
Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling techniques.
- Communication Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Swedish proficiency is a strong advantage, and Finnish is desirable.
- Mindset
Proactive, results-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. A strong commercial mindset and a passion for the carbon removal industry are essential.
