We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Lawyer to join our team at Nexans. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in supporting our sales and tendering teams in negotiating and drafting complex commercial contracts.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in business law, with experience in contract negotiation and management. They will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to pursue them.

The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and will be able to adapt to changing priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them
  • Support G&T Sales & Tendering team by writing, reviewing, commenting, and negotiating a wide range of contracts
  • Participate in final review of all contractual and commercial documents prior to contract signature

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in business law with ideally a double qualification and experience (Civil and Common Law)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a law firm and/or as In-house with knowledge of industrial/infrastructure/renewable projects
  • Experience in business development and contract negotiation
