Overview
Absorbing our digital transformation requires an experienced Business Development Manager to collaborate with Arrow's infrastructure business unit in Oslo, fostering growth by developing current client accounts and cultivating new opportunities. This role is pivotal in strengthening relationships between the Cloud Computing/Infrastructure business area, regional teams, and vendors to support shared objectives.

This position falls under our Infrastructure Business Unit in Oslo, where you will contribute significantly to driving Norwegian market expansion.


The Role & Team

You will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategies to drive sales growth. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with internal sales teams to identify potential reseller partners.
  • Collaborating with these partners to equip them with necessary tools and resources to realize their sales potential.

Your success will depend on building and maintaining strong vendor relationships, finding new business leads, and fostering robust connections within partner networks.

This role demands self-motivation, a proactive approach, and excellent communication skills, as well as fluency in Norwegian and English.


Key Responsibilities

As a Business Development Manager, your day-to-day tasks will involve:

  • Prospecting for new business opportunities.
  • Executing successful business plans with identified partners.
  • Maintaining open communication channels with the vendor.
  • Initiating marketing campaigns to attract new leads.
  • Regularly forecasting opportunities and providing detailed insights for short- and long-term deals.
  • Providing sales training to enable partners.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you must have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Business Development or Account Management within the IT distribution sector.
  • Experience with Citrix products and solutions is essential.
  • Self-motivation and a hardworking approach.
  • Excellent knowledge of the local market.
  • Fluency in Norwegian and English is a requirement for success in this position.
