Job Description

We are seeking a Graduate to join our Hydrodynamics and Stability section. As a Graduate, you will work with colleagues across disciplines and geographies to develop and deliver projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Verification and prediction of vessel performance
  • Computational Fluid Dynamics for resistance and propulsion of ships, including effect of energy efficiency measures
  • Advice regarding hydrodynamic and aerodynamic means to reduce ship emissions
  • Development and application of methodology utilizing on-board measurements to quantify effect of technical and operational measures to reduce emissions
  • Various programming tasks and data analysis tasks in close collaboration with domain experts
  • Perform stability calculations according to applicable rules for different vessel types using NAPA
  • Stability assessment for various offshore structures
  • Support clients in calculation of fatigue and extreme loads on marine structures
Requirements

We are looking for an Engineer with a strong academic background in naval architecture, physics, marine structures, mechanical engineering, or a related field. You should have experience with scripting and programming, as well as good command of English. Personal qualities such as analytical thinking, good communication skills, and ability to work independently are also essential.
