About the Role


The Legal & Compliance department at Equinor has over 140 legal experts, specialists, consultants, and qualified support personnel. We are responsible for advising on all legal matters and acting as corporate bodies' secretariat within the Equinor group.



Job Responsibilities


As an energy lawyer in our Legal & Compliance department, your responsibilities will include:



  • Providing legal advice to business areas on various activities, including projects, commercial transactions, and negotiations.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and counterparties globally in an international environment.
  • Developing as an energy lawyer within various legal areas, with opportunities for learning and growth.


Required Skills and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A Master's degree or PhD in law with a good academic record.
  • Fluency in English.
  • No more than two years of relevant full-time work experience.
  • Ability to live by our safety and security expectations.
  • High ethical standards.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Global mindset.
  • Team player with the ability to work and deliver results in a diverse environment.
  • A positive attitude to take on new challenges and adapt to dynamic environments.


Estimated Salary Range


We estimate the salary range for this position to be approximately $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on industry standards and market conditions.
