Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Web Engineer to design, develop, and maintain backend systems that support our rapidly growing composable e-commerce platform. As a key member of our engineering crew, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable and robust solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing backend systems using modern technologies like Node.js and Typescript
  • Collaborating with frontend engineers, designers, and data analysts to ensure seamless integration and user experience
  • Debugging and triaging system-wide complications to ensure our services run smoothly
  • Staying up-to-date with technical developments in the field and sharing knowledge with the team
  • Ensuring our cloud-native architecture is scalable and secure
  • Handling complex integrations with third-party services like Akeneo PIM and Brink eCommerce

You'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from building new features to optimizing existing ones. We're looking for someone who is passionate about innovation, growth, and autonomy, and who is excited about the prospect of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 5 years of experience working with modern backend technologies like Node.js and Typescript
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
  • Collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with cloud-native architecture and a willingness to learn and grow in this area
  • Fullstack capabilities and experience with frontend technologies like React
  • E-commerce enthusiasm and experience with composable e-commerce tools like Akeneo PIM and Brink eCommerce
