We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead our Service Team in delivering exceptional service to our customers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Service Team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Lead and guide a team of 13 service engineers in two locations, providing guidance and support to ensure the team is working effectively.
- Service Delivery: Coordinate and discuss new service opportunities with major accounts, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the management of Emerson infrastructure on customer sites, including the delivery of Long Term Service Agreements (LTSA).
- Sales Support: Support sales teams in the pursuit phase by presenting service delivery capabilities to customers.
- Compliance and Quality: Ensure that service engineering compliance is maintained to the Integrated Management System (HSEQ) and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Customer Interaction: Serve as the single point of contact for allocated customers, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
- Utilization and Delivery: Ensure that service delivery is in line with schedule and budget.
- Future Planning: Identify future needs for Regional Lifecycle service operation locations and develop required proficiencies.
- SMO Certification: Ensure that all team members are certified in SMO, PPE, and Safety.
- Education: BSc in Engineering or equivalent work-based experience.
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading operational teams.
- Stakeholder Management: Experience in managing multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Customer Relationships: Experience in developing customer relationships.
- Language Skills: Local language skills with proficient Norwegian and English (verbal and written); excellent communication skills.
- Travel: This role may require traveling to customer sites or other service locations in the country/region.
