Job Summary
We are seeking a Young Professional Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in Stavanger. As a key member of our Supply Chain Management Department, you will play a crucial role in helping us achieve our mission to #PowerTheChange.
Key Responsibilities
- As a Buyer working within Electrification, Maintenance, and Modification projects, you will become part of a large professional team and culture that works together to succeed.
- You will join a dedicated team of Buyers and learn the procurement methods as you go in close cooperation with the engineering disciplines.
- We experience that the best way to learn is through on-the-job training and encourage you to be curious and ask questions.
- Our Buyers provide commercial and contract expertise to ensure that goods and services are delivered in compliance with procedures and business policy.
- You will establish, maintain, and follow up strategies, budgets, inquiries, and contracts for dedicated procurement packages and contribute to meeting the overall project plan.
- Interaction with suppliers all over the world, maintaining good and ethical supplier relations will be part of the daily work.
- Possibility to contribute to an improvement culture within procurement and functions across locations.
Requirements
- Student graduating in 2025 or recent years.
- Area of study relevant to the role you are applying for.
- If you like to plan, manage, and execute tasks, you will thrive in this role.
- Being proactive and having the ability to take initiative are great personal skills that will be appreciated in this role.
