Nutreco, a pioneer in animal nutrition and aquafeed, is seeking a talented young professional to join its Global Supply Chain Trainee Program. As part of the SHV family, our business lines, Skretting and Trouw Nutrition, are revolutionizing aquaculture and advancing livestock health and productivity with innovative solutions.
The OpportunityDrive your future success in end-to-end supply chain by learning from industry experts in sustainability, procurement, quality, manufacturing, logistics, planning, and engineering. Work at the center of it all and build your international acumen by connecting with our Business Units and Global Supply Chain Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities- Gain practical experience in supply chain excellence by working on challenging tasks, projects, and completing numerous trainings in an international environment.
- Develop your personal network in a collaborative environment.
- Identify potential improvements to help us drive continuous optimization.
- Participate in Skills Development Academy weeks focused on job-specific learning and personal development.
- Strong technical academic background in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or Business Administration.
- Strong proficiency in business English and local language.
- Maximum of one to two years of experience in supply chain, business administration, or manufacturing environments.
- Eagerness to take on global projects and temporary international relocation opportunities.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to different cultures, helping our operations around the world.

We offer a special 18-month program, split into three six-month rotations on the job, normally in three different countries, in three different supply chain areas. The program is designed to help you fully develop yourself on a personal and professional level by understanding our end-to-end supply chain processes, including the interdependencies and interconnectedness between different areas.
You will gain industry-specific knowledge and leverage the experience of experts in our different locations and Opcos. During all the phases of your traineeship, you will work as part of the Supply Chain team on a challenging position, global project, operational business tasks, and attend several training courses.
This combination of on-the-job, projects, training, and international experience will provide you with excellent skills and give you a solid head start on your career.
