Biotechnology Research Associate

We are seeking a skilled Biotechnology Research Associate to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. In this role, you will be responsible for providing specialist technical support to customers, assisting with the assessment of potential applications of our products to meet their needs.
You will work closely with customers to provide application data based on their requirements, demonstrating the feasibility of various applications. Additionally, you will conduct practical tasks such as DNA and RNA extraction, qPCR setup, gel electrophoresis, sample preparation for NGS Library, and handling biological samples.
Your primary focus will be on accurate recording of laboratory work and experiments in laboratory notebooks or worksheets in a regulated environment. You will also be responsible for conducting general maintenance and lab safety activities, including equipment maintenance, consumable orders, receipt of materials, lab stocking, and housekeeping.
