Job ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for an experienced Senior Electronics Engineer, Robotics Specialist for their growing team.
- Work on electronic sub-system designs, integrations, cable harnesses, PCB layouts, and frequently contribute hands-on in the lab building and debugging electronic systems, ranging from small test systems to fully integrated robots in the field.
- Develop concept, design, build, and troubleshoot compact and reliable electronic systems.
- Diagnostics and design revisions of complex mobile robots and manipulation systems.
- Power distribution, battery implementation, and motor systems.
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Robotics, or higher education.
- Good knowledge of electromechanical systems.
- Proven good skills using industry-standard EDA design tools (e.g. Altium Designer, electronics simulators).
- Electronic component selection and validation.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate very well with other disciplines and teams, such as controls, production, and mechanical.
Nice-To-Haves:
- Experience in Power Electronics.
- Industrial experience in the robotics, automotive, or related domains.
- Experience with sensor selection and integration (proximity, LIDAR, cameras etc).
- Knowledge of communications architectures including ethernet, EtherCAT, BiSS, RS485/422, LVDS, SPI.
- Experience with DFM.
- Industrial safety system design, FMEA Standards, and/or certification authority experience (UL, CSA, CE, FCC, ESA and NEC).
