We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team at Nexans USA Inc. as a Senior Project Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for leading project teams in the onshore, landfall, and topside installation of submarine cables and related accessories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute project execution phases, including installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Lead work during installation, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
  • Manage installation packages, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Develop technical solutions within the department, collaborating with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Participate in Quality and HSE activities, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
Requirements
  • Higher technical education (BSc/MSc degree) and relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the energy, subsea, construction, or infrastructure industry.
  • Experience with planning operations, writing technical procedures, and specifications.
  • Able to read, understand, and assure compliance to relevant codes and standards.
  • Responsible and structured, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
