Electrical Field Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth delivery of LV, MV, and HV equipment to site, from arrival to handover to commissioning.
- Verify equipment is received at site and installed correctly, with proper storage and preservation when necessary.
- Support the preparation for installation, ensuring accurate information is shared between Hitachi and the site organization.
- Conduct risk assessments prior to job commencement and verify installation complies with engineering documentation.
- Collaborate with the engineering back office to address site queries, clarify changes, and communicate effectively.
- Provide engineering feedback, including mark-ups, and attend weekly engineering and construction meetings.
- Establish routines at site to ensure compliance with the project redline process and perform quality checks on electrical installations.
- Prioritize MC packages according to the commissioning plan and record punch items before handover to commissioning.
- Assist in testing, preparation for testing, and commissioning activities as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent work experience.
- Active, self-driven, and solution-oriented individual with the ability to work integrated with contractors.
- Team player with HSSEQ experience and knowledge of Mechanical Completion systems, such as PIMS CMS.
- The position will be organized within the Technical Management organization, with reporting lines to the Construction Manager.
