Job Description

The Role

We're looking for a graduate with a strong background in cybernetics, automation, robotics, and electronics system design. You'll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, such as creating digital twins, developing autonomous systems, and designing advanced monitoring and control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create digital solutions for safe monitoring and control of facilities and efficient operations and production in Equinor.
  • Develop network architecture and design to meet cyber security and operational functionality needs for plant automation systems.
  • Accelerate the use of robots and drones within Equinor through software development, technology qualification, implementation, simulation, testing, and integration of robotic solutions.
  • Follow up automation and process system development in major plant development projects within renewables, oil & gas, carbon capture and storage, hydrogen production, from early engineering through construction and finally start-up of the plant.
  • Perform in technology research & development and implementing the results at our plants.
  • Provide technical support for operation, maintenance and modifications of our offshore and onshore plants in Norway and abroad.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or PhD with good academic record within Cybernetics, Automation, Robotics and Electronics system design.
  • Completed degree by the year of starting (2024).
  • Fluent in English.
  • No more than two years of relevant fulltime work experience.
  • Formal experience is not a requirement.
  • Extracurricular activities and/or voluntary work is an advantage.
