About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented graduate to join our Automation, Robotics, and Cybernetics team at Equinor. As a graduate, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that will help shape the digital future of our company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create digital solutions for safe monitoring and control of facilities and efficient operations and production in Equinor.
  • Develop network architecture and design to fulfill cyber security and operational functionality needs for plant automation systems.
  • Accelerate the use of robots and drones within Equinor through software development, technology qualification, implementation, simulation, testing, and integration of robotic solutions.
  • Follow up automation and process system development in major plant development projects within renewables, oil & gas, carbon capture and storage, hydrogen production, from early engineering through construction and finally start-up of the plant.
  • Perform in technology research & development and implementing the results at our plants.
  • Provide technical support for operation, maintenance, and modifications of our offshore and onshore plants in Norway and abroad.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or PhD with good academic record within Cybernetics, Automation, Robotics, and Electronics system design.
  • Completed degree by the year of starting (2024).
  • Fluent in English.
  • No more than two years of relevant fulltime work experience.
  • Formal experience is not a requirement.
  • Extracurricular activities and/or voluntary work is an advantage.
