About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team at the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, Department of Research, Section for Epidemiology and Prevention. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic research group investigating the health effects of the offshore work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct epidemiological studies to investigate cancer risk among offshore workers
  • Develop and implement statistical methods to analyze large datasets
  • Collaborate with researchers from various institutions to advance the field of occupational epidemiology
  • Present research findings at international conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals
Requirements
  • PhD in epidemiology, biostatistics, or a related field
  • Experience with epidemiological study designs and statistical methods
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Stata or R
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
