The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database architecture, cloud computing, and data storage solutions. You will be responsible for developing roadmaps, architecture, and design frameworks for our future use of database and cloud data storage solutions. Your expertise will enable us to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the field.

As a Senior Database Architect, you will work closely with our hybrid infrastructure and platform architect team to deliver innovative architecture and design solutions that enable business capabilities and services globally. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our database and cloud data storage solutions meet the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement database and cloud data storage solutions that meet the needs of our global operations
  • Design and develop roadmaps, architecture, and design frameworks for our future use of database and cloud data storage solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our database and cloud data storage solutions meet the needs of our business
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in database and cloud computing
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, with minimum 5 years of work experience
  • Skilled in analysing business/system requirements to recommend suitable data solutions
  • Experience delivering strategies, frameworks, and standards in an organization
  • Experience with Azure data storage solutions
  • Experience of database storage usage and backup
  • Proficient in database solutions, governance, security, license management in Azure and on-prem environments
  • Experience with Oracle, MS SQL, performance optimization, integration, transformation, and modernizing to Azure storage solutions
  • Preferable exam AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions
  • Fluency in Norwegian and English
