Position Overview

As a member of the Back Office division at Statkraft, you will be integral to the operational processes that underpin all commercial transactions. This includes the validation of transactions, management of clearing and collateral processes, contract settlements, billing, accruals, and regulatory reporting for trading and origination activities across Europe and the US. The Regulatory Operations team, located in Düsseldorf, is tasked with ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements across our group entities, adhering to all statutory regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute transaction reporting and related controls under various regulatory frameworks (EMIR, REMIT, MIFID II, Dodd-Frank)
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of regulatory reporting processes
  • Monitor daily performance indicators and analyze any discrepancies
  • Implement regulatory updates and respond to ad hoc inquiries regarding compliance
  • Assist in the rollout of new business initiatives from a regulatory reporting and compliance viewpoint
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including Trading/Front Office, Compliance, and IT

Qualifications

  • A degree in business, energy, or a related field
  • Relevant professional experience in regulatory reporting
  • Strong analytical abilities and a keen awareness of processes
  • A commercial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and meticulous attention to detail
  • A dependable team player, dedicated to achieving collective objectives
  • Proficient computer skills and experience working in cross-functional teams and projects
  • Business proficiency in English; knowledge of German is advantageous
