Assignment Overview

As an Instrument Mechanical Package Engineer, you will work together with other colleagues in the Hugin A project, responsible for:

  • Providing input to package requirements
  • Coordinating assistance to packages from other groups within the instrument and automation discipline
  • Coordinating package design with other disciplines
  • Clarifying supplier information and verifying design into the project

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • BSc or MSc in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering or a relevant subject for systems engineering
  • 10 years of relevant documented experience with instrument and system design of major packages like compressors and SRUs
  • Good knowledge of NORSOK standards and European directives like ATEX
  • Knowledge of Aker Solutions' work processes
  • Good experience with supplier follow-up
  • Pro-active and good communication skills
  • Software skills: Microsoft tools, knowledge of ProARC and COMOS preferred
  • Fluent English, written and spoken
