
PhD Research Fellow in Molecular Biology Position

At Arbeidsplassen, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced PhD Research Fellow in molecular biology to join our research group. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research on posttranslational methylation of human proteins.
About the PositionThe position is associated with the research group of Prof. Pål Falnes, which investigates the molecular mechanisms involved in introducing and recognizing methylations. Our team studies the functional effects of histidine methylation and its recruitment of specific methylhistidine-binding proteins.
We are looking for a researcher who can design, execute, and analyze experiments using various techniques within molecular biology, biochemistry, and cell biology. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for data analysis, publication, and presentation of results.
Requirements- A Master's degree or equivalent in molecular biology, biochemistry, or cell biology
- Practical experience from relevant laboratory work and ability to plan, perform, and analyze experiments
- Fluent oral and written communication skills in English
