In this role, you'll be responsible for leading tenders from initial request to contract closing and handover to operations. You'll create and complete bids/estimations/quotations based on customer technical specifications and requirements to achieve market competitiveness, high-quality tenders, and profitable business.
Your Responsibilities:
- Creation of commercially, legally, and technically optimized offers based on customer specifications.
- Definition of the scope of supply to be offered.
- Close cooperation with supply chain management to solicit quotations from subcontractors.
- Cost calculation estimations and determination of costs, margins, and sales price in cooperation with sales.
- Tender planning and on-time tender submittals.
- Technical support to sales during and early pursuit stages as well as supporting contract negotiation.
- Preparation of tender documents and reports for internal risk reviews and tender submission approvals.
Your Profile:
- Higher education in electrical engineering or similar.
- Good understanding of substation automation, control, and protection solutions.
- Knowledge of the grid automation market.
- Previous professional experience in a similar business area.
- Experience of tendering and commercial processes would be an advantage.
- Fluent in English and Norwegian.
- Willingness to travel and attend customer meetings, up to 10%.
