About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled RF Validation Engineer to join our team at Texas Instruments Inc. As an RF Validation Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of our RF ICs.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Debugging and optimizing RF performance to meet design specifications and regulatory requirements
  • Characterizing Texas Instruments' cutting-edge RF ICs for datasheet generation
  • Developing and optimizing RF PHYs for various standards (BLE, WiSUN, ZigBee, OFDM, etc.)
  • Designing RF HW and lab development boards
  • Performing HW simulations and analysis of designs (baluns, filters, transmission lines, impedance matches)

Requirements

  • Ongoing or completed Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in RF HW design and testing
  • RF PCB design skills (Cadence, Altium, or similar)
  • Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (e.g. spectrum and network analyzers, load pull systems, etc.) and simulation tools (e.g. ADS, Ansys, etc.)
  • Regulatory compliance testing
  • Anechoic/EMC chamber testing
  • Embedded C, Python, LabVIEW, and software debugging skills are an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
