The Role

You will be responsible for leading and participating in Joint Venture audits which includes Overhead, License, Logistics, Financial Vendor audits, protective (internal), measurement, tie-in, stock audit and evaluation as well as coordination/ad hoc support incoming Joint Venture audits. You will work in accordance with local Accounting and Tax legislation in line with internal client's regulations, as well in compliance with all internal procedures and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Audit Joint Venture operations to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Review and supervise bookkeeping of accounts assistants to ensure transactions are recorded correctly
  • Review reconciliations as necessary
  • Evaluate and implement appropriate accounting controls
  • Identify and promote opportunities to share knowledge
  • Strive for high standards of delivery to clients to ensure targets are met
  • Making entries into accounting system in accordance with accounting and tax regulations
  • Handle issues, provide flexible options and recommendations, escalate as appropriate
  • Prepare documentations and information around complicated accounting entries
  • Prepare documents for audit purposes
  • Other administrative tasks assigned by Supervisors or Team Leader
  • Responsible for timely reporting to the client and tax authorities
  • Communicate with the client regarding wide range of operational issues
  • Stay up-to-date with tax and accounting law changes
  • Attend client meetings
