This is where you come in. As our Project QHSER Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing QHSER activities on assigned projects. Your expertise will help us ensure compliance with our Project Execution Model and client requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Coordinate and Facilitate QHSER Activities: Ensure high focus on Nexans' QHSER objectives across projects within the STSC project department.
  • Facilitate Risk Assessment: Follow up on mitigation actions to maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Ensure Compliance: Oversee overall project compliance with our Project Execution Model.
  • Develop and Implement Quality Plans: Ensure Project Quality Plans and procedures are in line with the project execution model and contract requirements.
  • Act as Deputy Project Manager: Step into the role when requested.
  • Manage Reporting: Handle internal and external project reporting.
  • Manage Non-Conformance Reports: Evaluate the effective implementation of concessions/deviations, corrective actions, and preventive action management processes.
  • Conduct Audits: Coordinate client audits and perform audits on suppliers/sub-contractors.
  • Change and Knowledge Management: Oversee change and knowledge management processes.
  • Follow-Up on Sub-Suppliers: Ensure thorough follow-up of project sub-suppliers.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have experience in marine and/or manufacturing-based industries. A university degree in engineering or a related field is preferred. Fluency in Norwegian and English, both written and oral, is essential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are also required.
