We are seeking an Associate Professor to join the Oslo Centre for Biostatistics and Epidemiology as part of our effort to expand our research and teaching activities in machine learning and statistical theory. The successful candidate will have expertise in statistical/probabilistic machine learning, a strong interest in applications to medicine, and excellent communication skills in English.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead research projects in statistical theory and machine learning
  • Teach courses in statistical methods and biostatistics
  • Supervise PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers
  • Participate in departmental and faculty meetings
