We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pipe Support Designer & Checker to join our team at Techconsult AS. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing pipe support design activities, including modeling, calculations, and drawing production.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop pipe support systems for piping projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Review and check pipe support detailed drawings, providing feedback and recommendations to designers.
  3. Perform frame calculations and other relevant calculations, such as trunnion calculations.
  4. Collaborate with piping and pipestress teams to ensure optimal support solutions.
  5. Utilize E3D modeling tools and Staad-based programs to design and analyze pipe support systems.
  6. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of project plans, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  2. Minimum 12 years of experience in EPC new build and modification projects, with a focus on pipe support design.
  3. Proven expertise in multidiscipline knowledge and proactive problem-solving.
  4. Experience with Aveva Everything 3D (E3D) modeling tools and Staad-based programs.
  5. Desirable skills include offshore and fabrication experience, as well as proficiency in English communication.
  6. Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in multicultural environments.
