Job Title: Commissioning Engineer Mechanical

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to join our team in the TWEL project. As a key member of the commissioning organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of your work and adhering to the project manual and C&C strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commissioning preparations and execution within the project for all relevant systems.
  • Support other disciplines with interfacing commissioning activities.
  • Participate in weekly meetings regarding planning, status, reporting, challenges, and SSU.
  • Ensure all work performed in commissioning is made in full compliance with company safety regulations.
  • Prepare and execute commissioning on relevant discipline/system.
  • Handle Commissioning Queries (CQ).
  • Participate in MC verification to obtain Ready for Commissioning status.
  • Carry out commissioning preparation checks for all relevant systems and related equipment.
  • Responsible for activities related to commissioning package equipment and handover to Operation.
  • Follow and update commissioning procedures as needed during commissioning.
  • Follow up punch work in the field and punch list documentation and clearance.
  • Ensure that drawings/documents are marked up with changes identified during commissioning, and that as-built documentation is updated according to Site Instructions.
  • Establish and maintain good communication with other disciplines in the Commissioning group, offshore contractor representatives, and Operation/Plant Integrity.
  • Establish and maintain good cooperation with ATS supplier representatives and commissioning subcontractors.
  • Address areas of concern, propose and execute corrective actions.
  • Contribute to progress reporting of commissioning activities according to established reporting routines.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent.
  • Mechanical commissioning experience.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience.
  • Considerable relevant experience may compensate for less formal education.
  • Knowledge of company work processes (ARIS), Technical Requirements (TR), and tools (ProCoSys) is preferred.
  • Good team player with collaborative skills and high ethical and safety standards.
  • Language Requirements: English and Norwegian.
  • Work Location: Onshore, sporadic offshore.

Please note that in periods, most of the work will be offshore.
