Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Solution Consultant to join our esteemed Consulting and Services team, focusing on delivering innovative software solutions to our prominent clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate client workshops aimed at analyzing user requirements and documenting business workflows.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of business needs and present findings through clear documentation, including gap analysis, risk identification, and recommendations for process enhancements.
  • Create and document 'As Is' and 'To Be' process maps in alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Implement and configure Energy Components solutions tailored to meet client specifications.
  • Design and document test scripts to ensure that functional designs align with all business requirements.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to propose enhancements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Petroleum Technology, or a related field.
  • 1-5 years of relevant experience in IT and/or the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Proficiency in business process modeling and requirements analysis.
  • Strong technical skills in database modeling and programming, preferably with Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Experience in object-oriented programming, particularly in Java.
  • Familiarity with cloud solutions, containerization, and RESTful integrations.
  • Excellent communication abilities in both Norwegian/Scandinavian and English, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills

  • Additional technical skills such as Java backend/frontend programming, Oracle database modeling, PL/SQL programming, container technologies like Docker, and experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, as well as REST APIs and business analytics tools like PowerBI are advantageous.
