Job Description

This is a global, remote position and can be based in various locations across Europe. The role involves ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations for import/export across different regions.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in an import/export role with knowledge of trade compliance processes and the interplay with global supply chain.

We are looking for someone who can drive relevant analytics and provide strategic and tactical stewardship for global trade compliance systems and processes to assigned markets, partners, and stakeholder groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own policies, standards, and global import/export processes while working towards continuous improvements and driving best practices.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of world-class import/export practices for translation to business optimization and efficiency opportunities.
  • Drive to 100% compliance with laws and regulations for import/export under a LEAN mindset.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in International Trade, Global Tax, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Knowledge and experience in at least one of the following regulatory environments: Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, and/or Health Care.
  • International trade business acumen including tariff classifications, customs valuation, license management, preferential origin determination, free trade agreements background.
  • Attention to detail, good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
