About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Field Engineer to join our team at Omega Project Solutions. As an Electrical Field Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth installation and commissioning of electrical equipment on our projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Installation: Ensure that electrical equipment is received at site and installed correctly, in accordance with engineering documentation.
- Site Management: Support in preparation for installation, ensuring information is given from our engineering team to site personnel.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments prior to job commencement to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
- Quality Control: Verify that electrical installations comply with engineering documentation and industry standards.
- Communication: Communicate with our engineering team, site personnel, and contractors to ensure that all parties are aware of project requirements and timelines.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve electrical installation issues on site, in accordance with project requirements.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of electrical installations, including documentation of any issues or concerns.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in electrical installation and commissioning, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and equipment.
- Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- HSSEQ: Experience with HSSEQ (Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Quality) procedures and protocols.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of Mechanical Completion systems, such as PIMS CMS.
