
Glycobiology Researcher

OsloMet is a leading university in Norway, and we are currently seeking a Glycobiology Researcher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the development of a new strategy for the identification and reporting of protein glycosylation.
About the Position- This is a fixed-term position that will last for two years
- The position will involve collaborating with an international team of researchers from institutions in Leeds, Oslo, York, Vienna, and Dublin
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in glycobiology, as well as experience with biological mass spectrometry and/or omics (proteomics, lipidomics, metabolomics, etc.). Strong oral and written communication skills in English are also essential.
Key Responsibilities- Develop protocols and utilize methods for mass spectrometric glycoprotein analysis
- Contribute to maintaining and operating OsloMet's mass spectrometry facility
