Glycosylation Research Opportunities

Ongoing research at OsloMet focuses on optimizing cellular glycosylation for biotechnology and healthcare applications. Our work involves characterizing glycosylation of cell lines and primary cell cultures. As a researcher, you will have the chance to make significant contributions to this area.

The ideal candidate has experience in protein biochemistry, glycobiology, and/or biological mass spectrometry. We are looking for individuals who can collaborate effectively within an international team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a new approach for identifying and reporting protein glycosylation
  • Work collaboratively with researchers from various institutions
  • Implement mass spectrometric glycoprotein analysis techniques
  • Manage and maintain OsloMet's mass spectrometry facilities
  • Use mass spectrometry to assign glycoconjugates
