Company Overview: Our laboratory is a centre for molecular biology, biotechnology, and bioinformatics within the University of Oslo. We are devoted to research and postgraduate training.

Salary: The successful candidate will be offered a salary as Principal Engineer, position code 1085 in salary range NOK from 590,000 to 630,000 per annum.

Job Description: This full-time position is available for the duration of 2 years at our shared facility between the Core Facility for Chemical Biology and High Throughput Screening and the research group of Dr Charlotte Boccara Systems Neuroscience and Sleep.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with an excellent track record who can work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities include maintaining, programming, and running advanced automated robotic systems for liquid handling, daily operations, technical support, ordering of consumables and reagents, and cell culture of primary human cells and established human cell lines.

Required Skills and Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in biotechnology or a related area is needed, but a Master in a relevant field would be valued. Experience from similar work can replace this formal requirement. Knowledge of molecular biology laboratory methods including cell culture is required.
