Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) professional to join our team at 1X Technologies. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of electrical components and assemblies supplied to us.

In this role, you will develop and implement scalable SQA systems, lead supplier selection, qualification, and audits, and collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues. You will also provide feedback on vendor Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and inspection plans, and review first article inspection (FAI) reports to ensure parts meet specifications and regulatory standards.

You will work closely with our design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to align quality expectations and integrate supplier quality into product development. Your expertise in quality management systems, including PPAP, FAI, FMEA, and AVL management, will be essential in driving process optimization and ensuring consistent, reliable, and efficient production.

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong understanding of electrical component manufacturing and assembly processes, including PCB fabrication, SMT assembly, wire harness production, connector assembly, and electromechanical integration. Your ability to work effectively with domestic and international suppliers, lead joint investigations, conduct audits, and implement supplier improvement plans will be critical.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent documentation and communication skills, as well as a proven ability to coordinate and lead cross-functional teams. If you have experience with quality frameworks and tools such as Six Sigma, 8D, Ishikawa diagrams, SPC, and 5 Whys, that is a plus. Data-driven problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze engineering data, create models, and leverage statistical tools to identify root causes, are also desirable.
