Job Overview

Ramboll is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Consultant Wind Turbine and Electrical Expert to join our global Offshore Wind Advisory team. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert guidance and strategic advice on wind turbine electrical systems, supporting our clients in shaping winning strategies and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and lead relevant working packages for wind turbine scopes and interfaces, ensuring adherence to project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality of systems during project execution of wind turbine projects.
  • Support and lead technical preparation, coordination, and management of wind turbine scope tendering processes, in collaboration with external stakeholders and our clients.
  • Support standardization processes and initiatives across the Offshore Wind Advisory Team, to develop and improve standard and modular technical requirements for the contracting of the wind turbine scope in international projects.
  • Provide training and mentorship to project team members, subcontractors, and field personnel through fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organization.

As a Chief Consultant Wind Turbine and Electrical Expert, you will be part of a multidisciplinary project team, working on offshore wind farm developments worldwide.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or related field with a minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in Offshore wind project development, execution, and operation.
  • Knowledge and an understanding of wind project different disciplines like design and engineering, project economics, interfaces, risks, and commercial aspects of offshore wind farm development.
  • Strong project management skills with experience in negotiating complex contracts and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage timelines.
  • Strong writing and communication skills in English; additional languages are beneficial.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced, team environment.
