About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Consultant Wind Turbine and Electrical to join our Offshore Wind Advisory team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and strategic advice on wind turbine electrical systems, supporting our clients in shaping winning strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support on wind turbine electrical systems, ensuring adherence to project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality of systems during project execution of wind turbine projects.
  • Tendering and Procurement: Support and lead technical preparation, coordination, and management of wind turbine scope tendering processes, in collaboration with external stakeholders and our clients.
  • Standardization and Knowledge Transfer: Support standardization processes and initiatives across the Offshore Wind Advisory Team, developing and improving standard and modular technical requirements for the contracting of the wind turbine scope in international projects.
  • Training and Mentorship: Provide training and mentorship to project team members, subcontractors, and field personnel through fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organization.
About You
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or related field with a minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in Offshore wind project development, execution, and operation.
  • Technical Knowledge: Knowledge and understanding of wind project different disciplines like design and engineering, project economics, interfaces, risks, and commercial aspects of offshore wind farm development.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills with experience in negotiating complex contracts and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage timelines.
  • Communication Skills: Strong writing and communication skills in English; additional languages are beneficial.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced, team environment.
