Role Description

We are looking for a talented Enterprise Account Manager to join our Core Diagnostics team, covering Norway. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving customer loyalty, managing multiple, simultaneous projects, analyzing marketplace trends, consulting with customers to provide insights for clinical effectiveness and operational excellence, developing a deep understanding of account needs, stakeholders, and competitive landscapes, aligning Abbott solutions with customer priorities, generating innovative ideas, creating and implementing strategic account engagement plans, maintaining accurate customer data, building rapport and relationships focused on achieving results, partnering with key decision-makers, driving market share growth, leading cross-functional teams, making quick decisions, negotiating profitable contracts, building long-term collaborative partnerships, exhibiting extroverted, confident, enthusiastic, and persuasive qualities, providing authoritative leadership, and delegating details as necessary.


Responsibilities

  • Analyze and apply marketplace trends to assigned enterprise accounts with a sense of urgency for goal achievement.
  • Consult with customers to provide insights for clinical effectiveness and operational excellence, focusing on results.
  • Develop a deep understanding of account needs, stakeholders, and competitive landscapes.
  • Align Abbott solutions with customer priorities to deliver superior healthcare outcomes.
  • Generate innovative ideas and solve problems creatively to meet customer needs.
  • Create and implement strategic account engagement plans for new and renewal opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate customer data in Salesforce.
  • Build rapport and relationships focused on achieving results and engaging the commitment of others.
  • Partner with key decision-makers to develop solutions that enhance competitiveness and performance.
  • Drive market share growth through new business opportunities and contract renewals.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute account strategies, ensuring accountability for results.
  • Make quick decisions in response to changing conditions, taking calculated risks when necessary.
  • Negotiate profitable contracts by evaluating all possible deal scenarios.
  • Build long-term, collaborative partnerships with current and potential customers.
  • Exhibit extroverted, confident, enthusiastic, and persuasive qualities to influence and stimulate others to action.
  • Provide authoritative leadership based on generalist expertise and knowledge of systems.
  • Delegate details as necessary, with follow-up on timeliness and quality to assure business results are achieved.

Requirements

  • University degree, ideally in medical technology.
  • 3-5 years of experience in hospital selling, with a focus on executive-level relationship building.
  • In-depth knowledge of the healthcare and diagnostics industry, including market dynamics, key competitors, and regulatory challenges.
  • Proven track record in managing strategic/enterprise accounts and winning contracts at large, complex accounts.
  • Strong solution selling and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic focus on long-term account management.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
