Strategic Business Development Manager

SLB Capturi is a leading carbon capture technology company, serving a range of carbon-emitting industries including cement, blue hydrogen, bio/waste-to-energy, and gas-to-power among others.
We are committed to mitigating the environmental cost of industrial activity for a cleaner, more sustainable future. Our company is at the forefront of the industrial energy transition, and we are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sales Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and Support Strategic Sales Efforts: Collaborate with our strategic accounts and regional sales teams to drive growth and expand market reach.
- Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Create and execute sales plans to identify and capitalize on business opportunities in the carbon capture and storage market.
- Build and Maintain Relationships: Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and investors.
- Stay Up-to-Date on Industry Trends: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to assess market potential and guide strategic decision-making.
- Deliver Persuasive Presentations: Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients, highlighting the unique benefits and value of SLB Capturi's solutions.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or business management, master's degree preferred.
- Experience: 5-10+ years in business development or commercial development positions within the new energies or climate tech sectors, preferably in carbon capture & storage and/or direct air capture project development.
- Skills: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
