NOV Inc. is a leading provider of innovative solutions for the energy industry. We are seeking an experienced QHSE Manager to join our team in Process Systems Oslo.

Job Summary

The QHSE Manager will be responsible for implementing and maintaining NOV QHSE activities within Process Systems Oslo. This includes:

• Drafting, verifying, commenting, and reviewing documentation from a QHSE perspective
• Participating in internal and external Quality/HSE meetings, including with clients
• Assisting functional managers and team leaders in developing procedures
• Maintaining relationships with external QHSE providers to ensure effective outcomes for the business
• Auditing, compliance, and project execution (external and internal)
• Defining and rectifying potential gaps or inconsistencies between processes in the office
• Managing planning and performance of system audits to ensure effective implementation
• Responsible for ISO 9001 certification audits, follow-up audits, securing, and maintaining the ISO 9001 certification of Oslo office
• Responsible for NCR/Improvement process, promoting the process, assigning, and follow-up of closing NCR/Improvements
• Supporting QA to clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Supporting the QCQS Manager in implementing PEM in all projects
• Coordinating emergency management response activities, point of contact, and escalation for incidents globally on a 24/7 basis

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Technical education BSc/MSc – Engineering
• Minimum 5 years' experience within QA and HSE
• Experience in coordination and networking with multiple countries and cultures at a global level
• Third-Party Certified Auditor in current ISO standards
• Willingness to travel internationally as necessary
• Willingness and ability to be on-call contact for emergency situations out of hours
• Experience in HSE inspections, statistics, and indicators
• Microsoft Sharepoint skills, ability to develop, create, and maintain Sharepoint sites and backend databases for quality purposes and business needs
• Proactive and innovative, focused on continuous improvement
• Experience in statistics and analytical methods, ability to interpret and present data for reporting purposes
• High-level Excel skills, strong general computer skills, able to work with a variety of systems, programs, learning new programs quickly
• English fluency (oral and written)
