Job Summary:
Valbin Corporation is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Space Subject Matter Expert to provide expert guidance in space operations and planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the space domain and be able to contribute to the development of appropriate OPFOR space effects within exercise scenarios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Incident Development: Support the development of storylines with appropriate OPFOR space effects, ensuring alignment with the overall OPFOR Joint Plan (OJP) and Scheme of Manoeuvre (SoM).
- Content Management: Oversee OPFOR space content in the Joint Exercise Management Module (JEMM) and ensure that it is up-to-date and accurate.
- Guidance: Provide guidance to OPFOR space scripters and support workshop syndicates with space expertise, ensuring that they have the necessary knowledge and skills to develop effective space-related content.
- Coordination: Coordinate and deconflict space incidents with other OPFOR cells and EXCON cells, ensuring that all activities are aligned with the overall exercise objectives.
- Operational Design: Contribute to the OPFOR Operational Design from a space domain perspective, ensuring that the space-related aspects of the exercise are well-integrated and effective.
- Dynamic Scripting: Be prepared to dynamically script, in JEMM, OPFOR space content as required, ensuring that it is accurate and up-to-date.
Technical Requirements:
- Educational Background: A higher-level civilian, military, or staff college education/degree relevant to the space domain is required.
- Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of previous military experience within the last 8 years in the operational space domain.
- Experience reaching the rank of OF3/OF4 (or suitably experienced OF2/OR7+).
- NATO Knowledge:
- Experience with NATO or national operational exercises.
- Command Experience: Experience in a senior space position.
- Security Clearance: Current NATO Secret Security Clearance.
- Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English as defined by STANAG 6001 (SLP 3333) or equivalent.
