Responsibilities

As a PhD Candidate, you will conduct research to identify and characterize critical biogeochemical indicators that signal primary drivers and stressors affecting biodiversity in European coastal waters. You will collaborate with marine biologists and experts in monitoring technology to develop and apply advanced observation methods.

You will participate in international cooperation and contribute to fieldwork campaigns, including research cruises. You will also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate data collection and analysis in a systems framework.

  • Develop and apply advanced observation methods for monitoring biogeochemical pressures causing biodiversity decline.
  • Contribute to the development of a comprehensive approach for monitoring and mapping biogeochemical pressures causing biodiversity decline.
