Job Summary

As the Head Chef at Lily Country Club, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen team to deliver exceptional culinary experiences to our guests. Your primary focus will be on controlling the kitchen, including staff management, scheduling, kitchen economy, menu development, and concept implementation. You will also be accountable for maintaining a healthy and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure seamless execution of menus and services.
  • Develop and implement menu concepts, ensuring alignment with the hotel's culinary vision.
  • Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Monitor kitchen expenses, optimize resource allocation, and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative dishes, menus, and promotions that meet guest expectations.

Requirements:

  • French or Nordic culinary training and experience in high-volume kitchen environments.
  • Proven leadership skills, with a track record of developing and managing high-performing kitchen teams.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Nordic, French, and international cuisine, with a passion for innovation and creativity.
