Senior Discipline Task Lead – 26236 Oil & Gas

Techconsult AS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Discipline Task Lead to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of assigned discipline scope.
  • Lead and coordinate team members' work to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Ensure clear understanding of discipline scope among team members.
  • Coordinate interfaces with suppliers, subcontractors, and other disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Establish and maintain activity schedules and material budgets to ensure project efficiency.
  • Implement approved changes into the discipline schedule to minimize project delays.
  • Participate in studies, concept development, and execution tasks to drive project success.
  • Generate documentation for suppliers and create job cards to facilitate project progress.
  • Update engineering documents, drawings, and registers to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Administer material, perform take-offs, and ensure correct requisitions to optimize project resources.
  • Coordinate with 3rd party suppliers and collaborate with other disciplines to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Conduct offshore surveys to gather critical project data.
  • Deliver results that meet customer and project expectations.
  • Contribute to the training and development of less-experienced engineers to enhance team capabilities.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Fluent in written and oral English and Norwegian.
  • Master's or bachelor's degree in Engineering; relevant experience compensates for higher education.
  • Experience and knowledge of relevant design rules, regulations, and standards, such as NORSOK.
  • Proficient in Procosys, STID, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to execute, take responsibility, and make decisions.
  • Proactive communication, leadership qualities, and mentoring skills for younger engineers.
  • Branch experienced.
  • Cooperative and takes responsibility, communicates effectively.
