International Fundraising Strategy Advisor

Join Our Mission as a Global Fundraising Specialist
Are you passionate about making a significant difference in the world? The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is seeking a skilled and innovative Digital Fundraising Specialist to be part of our Global Fundraising team.
In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to design and implement digital fundraising strategies that will generate essential, unrestricted funds to support our mission of aiding those who have been displaced. Your efforts will directly contribute to expanding our fundraising capabilities, particularly in Norway.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of NRC's global fundraising strategy aimed at private individuals, working collaboratively with internal teams to meet ambitious objectives.
- Design and oversee digital marketing campaigns, fundraising appeals, and donor engagement pathways to achieve financial targets.
- Continuously assess and enhance digital campaigns, especially during key periods such as holiday seasons and emergency responses.
- Analyze fundraising performance metrics, providing insights for innovative investments and strategies to diversify income sources and strengthen financial stability.
- Ensure compliance with various regulations, privacy laws, and currency considerations across different regions.
- Prepare annual plans and budgets, tracking income, expenses, and key performance indicators to promote transparency and accountability.
Your Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in fundraising, sales, or digital marketing, enabling you to enhance our fundraising efforts from the outset.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to identify challenges and leverage opportunities effectively.
- Experience with digital marketing tools, including social media advertising, email campaigns, and direct outreach.
- Proficiency in database marketing and familiarity with advanced platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in A/B testing and deriving actionable insights from data.
- Demonstrated ability in financial forecasting and developing persuasive business cases.
- Exceptional presentation skills to effectively communicate ideas and strategies.
- Fluency in both Norwegian and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
