Medical Advisor for Hematology

GSK is a global biopharma company dedicated to uniting science, technology, and talent to get ahead of disease together. We prevent and treat disease with vaccines, specialty, and general medicines, focusing on the science of the immune system and new platform and data technologies.

We are seeking a Medical Advisor for Hematology to join our team in Norway as a scientific expert. In this role, you will be the key interface between GSK and the medical community, maintaining a detailed understanding and deep appreciation of the science and evidence for treatment options in the therapy area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Present scientific findings and provide medical education to healthcare professionals.
  • Review and approve marketing materials in line with local regulations and ensure the material is factual, balanced, and data presented in line with regulatory and international guidelines.
  • Support clinical development activities by partnering with clinical operations in feasibility processes, identifying sites for clinical trials in Norway, and being the scientific and medical expert in study initiating activities.
  • Identify, develop, and follow-up of medical projects and evidence generation activities in collaboration with external experts and internal partners.
  • Serve as a medical expert in cross-functional teams, offering medical and scientific trainings as well as insights to strategies in medical affairs, marketing, and commercial initiatives.

Requirements:

  • PhD in a relevant subject, PharmD, or MPharm with relevant experience, Cand. Med., or Cand. Pharm.
  • Hematology/oncology experience either from studies or professional experience.
  • Fluent in Norwegian, Swedish, or Danish and English, speaking and writing.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to disseminate scientific information across a variety of seniorities.
  • Willingness to travel.

Preferred:

  • Experience in Medical Affairs highly preferred.
  • Proactive attitude, passionate about making things happen, and being accountable for impact.
  • Proven track record for establishing and maintaining collaborations and relationships with both internal and external experts.
