About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Planner to join our team in Oslo. As a Site Planner, you will play a vital role in creating a comprehensive schedule for the installation team, coordinating all activities in the depot, and working closely with external customers and subcontractors to oversee and manage operations planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and follow up on detailed on-site activities schedules for Installation, Commissioning, and department (train industrial schedule or Gantt chart)
  • Monitor the resources booking process (driver request, train handover and handback coordination, track booking forecasts) and the use of possessions
  • Support the department with their readiness status prior to site activities
  • Attend regular internal meetings: department meeting, planning reviews
  • Attend regular meetings with internal suppliers: control the supplier schedule and monitor progress
  • Attend regular external meetings: Customer meetings related to site activities, third parties meetings related to site activities, synchronization meeting to push the plan
  • Assess the progress of works against the schedule
Requirements
  • Graduated with a bachelor's degree
  • Scheduling tool: MS Project as a minimum
  • Language skills required: advanced/business fluent level of English. It will be a plus to have Norwegian language skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to fulfill the role of site coordinator towards internal department, internal supplier, Customer, and third parties
  • Decision-making and problem-solving ability
