About the Role:
The Project Purchasing Team Lead will be responsible for managing and coordinating all purchasing-related activities respecting Nexans purchasing procedures throughout the lifetime of the tenders and projects. The successful candidate will have a team of Purchasers and Purchasing Managers to develop, allocate resources, and ensure high-quality execution.

Responsibilities:
• Be a mentor to and develop the competence of your team of project and tender purchasing managers.
• Contribute and ensure that the Purchasing Strategy is executed within your portfolio of projects.
• Participate in Purchasing activities for dedicated project(s) and tender(s) on large subcontracts.
• Ensure your team manages the entire purchasing process according to Nexans Purchasing (including Best Practices) and Project Model.
• Responsible for the delivery according to the KPIs of the team.
• Promote good collaboration within the team and across the entire purchasing project organizations.
• Boost your impact by actively promoting Quality and HSE.

Requirements:
• Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Procurement / Category Management / Supply Chain with proven records of fruitful negotiations or commercial achievements. Project purchasing experience is preferred.
• Extensive experience from international negotiations.
• Experience in any of the following industries: oil, gas, offshore, onshore, maritime, construction.
• Practical experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• Team player / Organized / Ability to coordinate many stakeholders and keep good track of discussions.
• Proactive, efficient, and able to achieve results.
• High working capacity and ability to multitask.
• Well-structured and executing tasks in an orderly and systematic manner.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrates behaviors in line with Nexans' values: Pioneer, Dedicated, United.
