We are seeking a highly skilled Documentation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our product team, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth and delivery through high-quality documentation.

As a Documentation Specialist, you will be responsible for creating new product documentation for our monthly feature updates. This involves collaborating closely with project managers and drafting content as soon as feature details become clear.

You will also focus on enhancing the tools and processes that support high-quality documentation. Early projects may include conducting a full audit of our Administration Guide, designing a more intuitive structure for project documentation, and establishing a streamlined process for creating new documentation.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will need to have excellent pedagogy skills, able to break down complex concepts into core components, guiding the reader to independently master new features. You should also have strong writing skills, conveying instructional content clearly, concisely, and in an approachable manner.

A knack for organizing information in an intuitive way, minimizing distractions for the user, is essential. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and corporate wikis is a must. Bonus points for experience with Markdown or any coding languages.

Responsibilities:
  • Produce new product documentation for monthly releases
  • Create a new structure for documentation
  • Separate documentation from onboarding material in the existing Administration Guide
  • Maintain and update documentation on a rolling basis
  • Provide release communications support
